Our MALS graduate, Miss Pauline Bolin LIU, presented her research in collaboration with MALS teacher Dr. Mingxing LI, entitled "Phonological typology and perceptual distinctiveness of the [n-l] contrast in different vowel and tonal contexts", on The 19th Conference on Laboratory Phonology (LabPhon 19) (https://labphon.org/labphon19/program-glance) at Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea, June 27-29, 2024. LabPhon is one of the most prestigious and competitive conferences. Pauline's work was chosen as one of the 28 oral presentations in the general sessions of the conference, out of more than 300 submissions. Congratulations to Pauline!
