We are glad to announce that, a research by Miss Xinlei SHEN, our MALS student, has been accepted for presentation on the upcoming The 30th Annual Conference of the International Association of Chinese Linguistics (IACL- 30), which will take place on May 25-27, 2024, hosted by Yonsei University, Korea. IACL is one of the major conferences in linguistics. Xinlei's research is entitled "Monosyllabic Tone Inventory in Chongqing Mandarin: An Optimality Theoretic Analysis". Congratulations to Xinlei!
