Greetings from the Centre for Applied English Studies, The University of Hong Kong!

As part of the celebration of the Centre’s 30th Anniversary, we would like to introduce you to our half-day colloquium titled ‘New frontiers for language instruction: Theory, research and pedagogy’, which is sponsored by the Louis Cha Fund, on 17 May 2023 in a hybrid mode, i.e., face-to-face at The University of Hong Kong and online via Zoom. We welcome school/university language teachers and other language-related professionals to join the colloquium to have direct conversations with three experienced scholars in the field of second language acquisition.
